Drivers should choose the Classic tour rather than the Warehouse 3 Tasting, which has no drivers' drams. Plan it with its two neighbours as a day on the south coast.

Booking: Book guided tours and tastings at ardbeg.com; advance booking is required. Drop-in flights need no booking. Some weeks in August and October have no spirit production because of maintenance; tours still run and cover the full process.
Opening: Visitor centre 09:30–17:00: seven days May–September, Monday–Friday in October and from November 2026 to April 2027. Closed 22 December 2026 to 4 January 2027. The last tour of 2026 is on 18 December; tours restart on 11 January 2027.
Getting there: On Islay's south coast, 3.7 miles from Port Ellen along the road past Laphroaig and Lagavulin. A car or taxi is easiest; walking or cycling is possible.
