Greater Manchester's distilleries mainly make gin, with small-batch producers in the city and the surrounding towns. Few currently list public tours on their websites. The clearest option for a guided distillery tour is Forest Distillery, which runs tours at the Cat & Fiddle Inn in the Peak District, a drive out of the city.
