Is it worth visiting?
Suits whisky drinkers who want to see a reopened Lowland distillery, and it is easy to reach from Edinburgh or Glasgow. The Reawakening tour is fair value at £25 for 90 minutes, a guided tour and three samples, but two of the samples are from other distilleries and none is aged Rosebank. Pay £50 for the Discover tour if you want to taste Rosebank 31 Year Old. Check the day before travelling, as the distillery is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Why visit
- The distillery was established on its present Falkirk site in 1840
- The site previously contained maltings belonging to Camelon Distillery
- Ian Macleod Distillers acquired Rosebank in 2017
- Production of new make spirit resumed on 5 June 2023

- Book through rosebank.com, which uses FareHarbor. Tours run at set times and Rosebank asks visitors to book ahead; tickets may be sold on arrival if places remain. A booking fee is added to the prices on the website, so the £25 Reawakening tour costs £26.25 online.

- Open all year. Monday and Wednesday–Saturday 10:30–18:00; closed Tuesday and Sunday.
- Getting there
- Rosebank Distillery, Camelon Road, Falkirk, FK1 5SQ, beside the Forth and Clyde canal towpath. The distillery gives about 30 minutes by car from Edinburgh Airport and under an hour from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Local buses stop nearby.
